Indian machinations against Pakistan are reaching a feverish pitch as it watches its nefarious plans going awry. India is getting desperate to pin Pakistan on the mat and destabilise it to an extent that either Pakistan accepts Indian supremacy or is broken into various independent states. India believes that since Pakistan in its current state refuses to subjugate itself and is proving a difficult nut to crack, its balkanisation may enable India to force each segment to kowtow to it or get annexed like Sikkim or be browbeaten like Nepal or Bhutan.

The heinous policy of Indian plans to decimate Pakistan has gained momentum under Modi’s rule. Being an active operative of the extremist Hindu organisation Rashtriya Savayamsevak Sangh (RSS) which was founded in 1925 by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar (1889–1940), Modi remains committed to promote India for Hindus and shun Muslims and other non-Hindu Indian minorities as well as low caste Hindus, the Dalit. It may be stressed that Hedgewar was heavily influenced by the writings of the Hindu nationalist ideologue Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, president of Hindu Mahasabha, which militantly defended the Hindus’ claims of religious and cultural supremacy over Indian Muslims. Hedgewar adopted much of Savarkar’s rhetoric concerning the need for the creation of a “Hindu nation.” Hedgewar formed the RSS as a cadre consisting mostly of upper-caste Brahmins who were dedicated to the protection of Hindu political, cultural, and religious interests. The RSS advocates a Hindu nationalistic agenda under the banner of Hindutva.

Modi was the chief minister of the Indian state of Gujarat and under his watch over 2000 Muslims were butchered by fanatic Hindus in accordance with a planned ethnic cleansing program in 2002. While addressing the Bangladeshi parliament on 7 June 2015, Modi admitted that “there had been a conspiracy to divide Pakistan”, he said “the establishment of Bangladesh was a desire of every Indian and that’s why India’s forces fought along with the Mukti Bahini, thus creating a new country.” Modi confessed that he was one of the young volunteers who came to Delhi in 1971 to participate in the Satyagraha Movement launched by Jana Sangh as a volunteer to garner support for the Mukti Bahini members and fight alongside them. This admission itself should have been pursued to take Modi to the International Court of Justice for conspiring to break up Pakistan and committing genocide of non-Bengalis in erstwhile East Pakistan.

In its latest move, India has excluded Pakistan from the list of SAARC member countries with which it will be connecting its state-of-the-art National Knowledge Network (NKN) for sharing scientific databases and remote access to advanced research facilities

BJP government under the leadership of Narendra Modi was formed in 2014 with the agenda of hate and odium against Indian Muslims and Pakistan. Modi unleashed a reign of terror in Indian held Kashmir, killing and blinding Kashmiri youth in thousands with pellet guns. Muslims and other minorities in India have been so brutalised that even Indian judges have now taken notice of the targeting of Indian Muslims and issued a warning to the ruling BJP government to desist from the abhorrent practice.

Simultaneously, India is indulging in serious ceasefire violations to harass Pakistanis and Kashmiris across the Line of Control which has taken a tremendous toll on human lives and property.

In a recent report published by Times of India, the Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) have claimed of firing over 9,000 rounds of mortar shells across the international border in Jammu. Indian media is drum beating and projecting Modi as a peace-loving leader whereas BSF is doing exactly opposite to that, thereby giving a message that Indian army is not under Modi’s control. Indian army chief General Bipin Rawat, on the other hand, is childishly challenging Pakistan to nuclear arms duels.

In his 2016 address to the Indian nation on its national day, Modi admitted that he supports the insurgency in Balochistan and would like to see the disturbed Pakistani province achieve independence from Pakistan. The arrest of senior RAW operative Commander Kulbhoshan Jadhav from Balochistan is concrete evidence of Indian intransigence and odious plans to create insurgency and mayhem in Balochistan and Sind.

Indian media is in overdrive to propagate conspiracy theories against Pakistan. A news item captioned ‘Pakistan High Court Declares Deal with Hardliners Illegal’ was published in New Delhi based RAW front organisation titled ‘A Publication of Bureau of Political Research and Analysis’ on 21 December 2017. It propagates that Pakistan army had to face major embarrassment over its role in the settlement made with the Faizabad protestors. The RAW front organisation has made it a point to enhance its propaganda subversive themes against Pakistani armed forces and ISI on one pretext or the other.

False flag operations have become the hallmark of Indian military and government. Well choreographed attacks are launched against their own installations, in which some Indian soldiers or members of Indian security forces are sacrificed but Pakistan is blamed for the attack. The fake evidence is presented to international media so that pressure is mounted on Pakistan. Modi is also employing his surrogates like Afghanistan to blackball Pakistan. The Afghan government has failed to stop attacks from Taliban as well as Daesh on vulnerable targets because its security forces are inept at maintaining law and order. Despite the presence of international forces in Afghanistan, according to a BBC report, the Taliban are openly active in 70 percent of Afghanistan’s districts, fully controlling four percent of the country and demonstrating an open physical presence in another 66 percent. Yet, to hide his incompetence and being goaded by his master Narendra Modi, President Ashraf Ghani continues to blame Pakistan for the failures of his government. In the latest display of undiplomatic behaviour, according to Tolo News, an Afghan TV Channel, despite the fact that Pakistan has handed over two dozen suspects alleged to be involved in terror attacks in Afghanistan, the Afghan president refused to take a condolence call from the Pakistani prime minister.

India has used every avenue to isolate Pakistan. It has not refrained from using the regional cooperation organisation SAARC to blackmail Pakistan. The last SAARC summit which was to be hosted by Pakistan was not only boycotted by India but the pressure was mounted on other SAARC members to restrain them from attending the summit, forcing Pakistan to cancel the event.

In its latest move, India has excluded Pakistan from the list of SAARC member countries with which it will be connecting its state-of-the-art National Knowledge Network (NKN) for sharing scientific databases and remote access to advanced research facilities.

The newfound camaraderie between the unstable US President Donald Trump and the extremist and radical Indian prime minister is being used to target Pakistan. Nimrata Randhawa, daughter of Indian immigrants Ajit Singh Randhawa and Raj Kaur Randhawa of Amritsar, now calling herself Nikki Haley, current US ambassador to the UN and numerous other Indian origin Americans in the US government, find it expedient to further the cause of Narendra Modi to pressurise Pakistan with false allegations. Certain Pakistanis currently in the US including a former Pakistani ambassador are allegedly on Indian payroll to enhance Narendra Modi’s heinous plot to denigrate Pakistan and spare no opportunity to launch smear campaigns against the country of their origin. Under the circumstances, the Pakistani government, its foreign office and media should be ever vigilant to thwart the multi-prong Pakistan bashing by India.
