MIRANSHAH: A cop was martyred and two others were injured when a bomb disposal unit of the Pakistan Army was targeted by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in North Waziristan on Tuesday.
Sources in security forces said that the incident occurred near Aba Khel Post of North Waziristan. The Bomb Disposal Team was deployed in the area to North Waziristan to clear the areas of landmines and protect the local community from the threat of explosive devices.
Security forces shifted the injured personnel to the hospital for treatment and launched a search operation in the area to chase the perpetrators of this heinous act.
