Since 2001, Fitna al-Khawarij has been actively targeting Islam, carrying out numerous attacks on religious sites and figures in the Islamic world. Over the last 24 years, this anti-Islam group has been responsible for 84 incidents specifically aimed at Islamic beliefs and sacred places, with a deliberate focus on sowing discord.
In their campaign, they have targeted:
- 17 mosques,
- 32 Imambargahs, and
- 21 shrines of revered Islamic saints.
Prominent scholars like Maulana Samiul Haq, Dr. Sarfaraz Naimi, Allama Nasir Abbas, Sheikh Hadith Maulana Hasan Jan, Maulana Noor Muhammad, and Maulana Shams Arrahman Muawiya have fallen victim to their violence. Additionally, Mufti Taqi Usmani survived a direct attempt on his life.
From the brutal attack on Parade Lane to assaults on holy shrines like Data Darbar, Baba Farid Ganj Shakar, and Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, the Khawarij have continually proven their deviation from true Islamic principles. Their actions serve as a stark reminder of their divisive, anti-Islam agenda aimed at undermining the essence of Islam itself.
