The people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have expressed strong appreciation for Pakistan’s leadership following the Iran-US ceasefire, highlighting enduring sentiments despite continued repression.
According to reports by NDTV, pro-Pakistan posters were displayed in the Doda district of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Viral videos circulating on social media show these posters alongside Pakistan’s green crescent flag, symbolizing support and solidarity.
The posters reportedly paid tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their role in the Iran-US ceasefire efforts. The initiative is said to have been carried out by the Jammu and Kashmir Youth Movement, as cited by NDTV.
Indian authorities have responded by registering an FIR over the display of pro-Pakistan posters, reflecting the sensitivity surrounding such expressions in the region.
Analysts note that despite prolonged oppression, violence, and heavy military presence, the emotional and political connection of Kashmiris with Pakistan remains strong. They argue that India’s extensive deployment of forces has failed to suppress the spirit of the Kashmiri freedom movement.
Experts further emphasize that Pakistan’s success in diplomatic and strategic domains, particularly its role in facilitating regional stability, is being recognized globally. This evolving perception positions Pakistan as a key stabilizing force in the region.
