QUETTA: Two officers were martyred when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded during a sanitisation operation in Kohlu area of Balochistan on Friday. Security forces on February 10 carried out an intelligence based operation in Kohlu area to deny terrorists any liberty to operate, said the military’s media wing, ISPR in a statement. As soon as troops started operation, an IED exploded close to the raiding party consisting of Army personnel. KARACHI: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Sindh on Wednesday claimed to have arrested commander of the banned outfit Daesh during a raid in Karachi. According to the CTD officials, the arrest was made from Korangi Industrial Area.
