    COAS Pledges Unwavering Stand Against Terrorism After Quetta Tragedy

    Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Quetta Garrison for the Shuhada who embraced martyrdom in the recent suicide blast at Quetta Railway Station, targeting innocent citizens and passengers.

    General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS), attended the funeral alongside the Federal Minister of Interior, the Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan, Provincial Ministers, and numerous military and civilian officials.

    Following the funeral, COAS visited CMH Quetta, meeting with those injured in the attack. During his visit, he emphasized the nation’s unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism.

    COAS reiterated that terrorism will not be tolerated and stressed the importance of collective national determination in this mission.

    He highlighted that this fight requires the steadfast support of all Pakistanis and the unified efforts of military and civil institutions to ensure a secure and prosperous future for Pakistan.

    COAS was received upon arrival by the Commander of Balochistan Corps.
