MIRANSHAH: A tragic incident occurred on Monday in North Waziristan tribal district, where a couple lost their lives in a suicide attack targeted at security forces, sources said.
As per the information obtained, a suicide bomber detonated himself close to a vehicle belonging to the bomb disposal unit of the security forces. This incident took place within a village located in the Ghulam Khan Tehsil of North Waziristan.
Local law enforcement shared that a husband and wife, who were standing on the roadside at the time, sadly lost their lives due to this attack. Fortunately, the security forces managed to evade the impact of the attack. The individuals who lost their lives were identified as Syed Muhammad and Dilroba.
The bodies of the deceased were transported to a nearby hospital, and concurrently, the security forces initiated a search operation in the vicinity to ensure safety and gather more information about the incident.
