False Reports of Iranian Missile Strikes in Panjgur Disproved

Recent claims suggesting missile strikes by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Pakistan’s Balochistan province, specifically in Panjgur, have been debunked as incorrect and baseless.

Reliable sources confirm that no such missile attack took place. Instead, the incident involved rocket fire amidst an ongoing clash between Pakistan’s Frontier Corps (FC) and smugglers operating near the border region.

These reports of targeted strikes on Pakistani territory lack any factual basis, particularly given the timing of the Iranian Foreign Minister’s visit to Pakistan.

This clarification highlights that the conflict was isolated to a skirmish with smugglers, with no deliberate cross-border aggression or missile involvement from Iran.
