The Prime Minister’s Office has taken a praiseworthy step by establishing a Joint Task Force to combat anti-state propaganda on social media.
This task force includes representatives from the Ministry of Interior, PTA, Ministry of Information Technology, intelligence agencies, FIA, IB, Islamabad Police, and the Ministry of IT, working collectively to counter elements spreading hatred and chaos in society.
This decision marks the beginning of strict measures against disruptive forces spreading lies, rumors, and toxic narratives to weaken the state and its institutions.
The state must continue such actions to ensure that those threatening Pakistan’s peace, stability, and unity are brought to justice. This initiative is a significant step toward securing Pakistan’s brighter future.
