In Kurram district, the Parachinar-Peshawar highway is closed for all traffic for the 13th day today. The roads are blocked in different areas, causing numerous problems.

Educational institutions have been closed, and there is a shortage of food in the markets. Following the attack on passenger cars traveling under government supervision in Kurram district, all traffic routes have been shut down. Today marks the 13th day of complete closure.

Essential supplies have run out in the markets due to the blockade, and the lack of medicines and other necessities in hospitals has created severe problems for patients. Most patients have been referred to Peshawar by doctors, but they face serious issues due to the road closure.

Ambulances are not allowed to come and go at the entry point Chepri check post of Kurram district. Additionally, students have missed exams for various colleges, and travelers from foreign countries are also waiting to leave. Deputy Commissioner Kurram, Jawadullah Mehsud, stated that they are working to assist the people.
