On October 29, 2024, in Orakzai District’s Dabori Badan Clay, Fitna-ul-Khawarij militants launched an attack on a polio team. Security forces, including the Frontier Corps and local police, swiftly responded, resulting in the elimination of three Khawarij fighters. Tragically, local police officer Abdul Samad was martyred in the operation.

The people of Orakzai rallied in favor of the security forces, chanting slogans and lifting Frontier Corps personnel on their shoulders in gratitude. Their show of solidarity underscores the public’s frustration with the Khawarij’s relentless violence and their support for the security forces defending peace and development in the region.

The attack highlights the lengths to which these militant groups go to disrupt development and spread terror among the innocent. Pakistan’s security forces remain resolute, vowing to continue their efforts to end the menace posed by these groups and to protect the nation’s progress.
