Pakistan and Turkiye call for immediate ceasefire and unhindered aid to Gaza

Pakistan and Turkiye have called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and unhindered humanitarian aid to the region. The matter was raised during a telephonic conversation between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

Both leaders strongly condemned IsraeI’s ongoing attr0cities in Gaza and expressed grave concern over the worsening humanitarian crisis. They highlighted the loss of innocent lives, forced displacement, and rising starvation among Palestinians as unacceptable.

The two ministers reaffirmed their unwavering support for the Palestinian people and called on the international community to act decisively. They also voiced hope for concrete outcomes from the United Nations conference being held to advance the long-standing two-state solution.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also held a separate phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi. The two leaders echoed similar concerns, emphasizing the urgent need for humanitarian corridors and international intervention to prevent further suffering.

Dar reiterated Pakistan’s firm stance in favor of Palestinian rights, and stressed that aid must reach civilians without delay or obstruction. He also discussed upcoming high-level Iranian diplomatic visits to Pakistan in the near future.

    A United Front for Peace

The regional coordination between Pakistan, Turkiye, and Iran underscores growing pressure on the international community to move beyond statements and take real action in Gaza. The renewed calls for a two-state solution, endorsed at the UN, offer a framework for lasting peace.

The shared message is clear: innocent lives must be protected, and international law must prevail. As Gaza faces one of the worst humanitarian crises in recent memory, Pakistan and its allies are working to ensure that diplomacy leads to relief—and ultimately, resolution.
