Rawalpindi, 25 October 2024 – The Pakistan-Russia Joint Exercise Druzhba-VII, a key counter-terrorism training event, concluded today at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Pabbi.
The two-week-long exercise, which began on October 13, 2024, included Pakistan Army Special Forces and a 54-member contingent from the Russian Army.

Lieutenant General Fayyaz Hussain Shah, HI (M), Inspector General Training & Evaluation (IGT&E), was the Chief Guest at the ceremony, joined by Russian Ambassador Albert P. Khorev.
The exercise showcased rigorous professional standards and aimed to enhance tactical interoperability, reinforce counter-terrorism techniques, and bolster the strong military ties between the two nations.
