On November 21-22, Pakistan’s security forces successfully eliminated three Khwarij militants in two separate operations conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
In the first intelligence-based operation in Bara, Khyber District, security forces targeted a Khwarij hideout. The operation resulted in the elimination of two key militants, identified as Haqyar Afridi alias Khyberay and Gulla Jan.
In another incident, security forces intercepted a group of Khwarij attempting to infiltrate Pakistan through the Afghanistan-Pakistan border in South Waziristan District. The troops effectively engaged the militants, killing one and injuring three others, thwarting their infiltration attempt.
Pakistan continues to urge the Interim Afghan Government to ensure strict border management on its side and to prevent the use of Afghan territory for terrorist activities against Pakistan.
