Following a decisive strike by Pakistan’s armed forces on extremist hideouts, the adversaries released a fabricated video aimed at misleading the public and concealing their defeat. This 5-minute and 13-second video, a concoction of lies and deception, attempts to portray a false narrative of resilience.

The video features two masked individuals claiming that the “Umar Media” office remains intact. However, blatant technical flaws expose the falsehood. The background equipment displays unchanging lights throughout the video, revealing that the setting was likely generated using screen-capture software. Additionally, the synchronization between the speaker’s voice and the movements of the individuals on screen is entirely off, indicating that the audio was recorded separately by someone else.

Further evidence of fabrication appears between timestamps 4:46 and 4:48, where an abrupt cut is visible, clearly showing that the audio and video were produced independently. The most damning proof lies in the final segment, where images of injured children are shown. These images, taken from Al Jazeera’s October 9, 2023, coverage of an earthquake in Afghanistan, have no connection to Pakistan or the operation. They remain accessible on Al Jazeera’s Twitter account, undermining the video’s claims.

This video represents a failed propaganda effort by the extremists. Their lies stand exposed, serving as undeniable evidence of their defeat. Pakistan’s armed forces have successfully dismantled their strongholds, forcing them to resort to deceit and fabrication as their last refuge.
