LAKKI MARWAT: A tragic event unfolded in Lakki Marwat, resulting in the loss of two police officers’ lives and leaving three others injured. This unfortunate incident took place on Monday when unidentified armed individuals launched an assault.

Credible sources have reported that a group of armed attackers, whose identities remain unknown, executed an attack on a mobile vehicle linked to the Pizo police station located in Lakki Marwat. This targeted assault led to the unfortunate martyrdom of two police officers, Bashir Khan and Saif Ali Khan, and left three additional officers, namely Asmatullah, Imdad, and Inaamullah, wounded. The attack occurred during the officers’ routine patrol duties, as they were unexpectedly ambushed by these terrorists.

Reacting promptly to this distressing incident, both the security forces and the police swiftly responded by mobilizing in the affected area. The wounded officers and those who had lost their lives were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention. In a bid to bring the culprits behind this tragic event to justice, the law enforcement authorities initiated a search operation within the vicinity.
