Why Enemies Fear Unity More Than Firepower

In the theatre of modern warfare, it is tempting to focus solely on weapons, drones, and missiles. But beneath the noise of artillery and the sophistication of technology lies something far more powerful   unity. It is this unity, not firepower, that our enemies fear the most. Because unity cannot be bought, borrowed, or built overnight. It is born of faith, discipline, purpose, and an unshakable belief in a shared destiny.

This truth was demonstrated with unmatched clarity during Operation Bunyān al Marsūs, when Pakistan stood not just as a state but as a wall of believers. The phrase “Bunyān al Marsūs” is not a military slogan. It is taken directly from the Holy Qur’an, Surah As Saff, where Allah says:

“Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they are a solid structure.”

This verse became the living spirit of Pakistan’s defense. It reminded us that our real strength is not in our machines, but in our ranks   tight, disciplined, and ideologically bonded like bricks in a fortified wall.

Our enemies know this. They have seen Pakistan withstand hybrid warfare, proxy conflicts, psychological operations, and regional isolation. Yet we did not collapse. Why? Because behind every soldier is not just a weapon, but a nation united by belief. Behind every frontline, there is a spiritual line drawn from our faith, our identity, and our resolve.

This is why hostile narratives always aim to divide. Whether it’s through sectarian tensions, ethnic manipulation, or media propaganda, the first target is always our unity. They don’t fear our missiles as much as they fear our mosques, our madaris, our mothers raising sons of sacrifice, and our soldiers holding Qur’an in one hand and rifle in the other.

Unity terrifies the enemy because it is unpredictable, immovable, and morally justified. An army of scattered interests can be bribed, blackmailed, or broken. But a nation aligned in belief cannot be defeated.

The recent spiritual message from Madinah Munawwarah by Pir Mazhar Saeed Shah, Minister of Information for Azad Jammu and Kashmir, reminded the world that our unity is not only strategic   it is sacred. He decoded the divine alignment of Operation Bunyān al Marsūs: from the number of letters to the date of action, every symbol pointed toward a heavenly timing. That message was not just to our people, but to our enemies   that when Pakistan moves in unity, it moves with divine permission.

Today, Pakistan is not just confronting external threats. It is resisting ideological warfare   a campaign that seeks to weaken our faith, distort our history, and challenge our values. But as long as we remain united in the spirit of Bunyān al Marsūs, no force, no alliance, and no conspiracy can undo what Allah has fortified.

This is the time for the Muslim world to understand that defense begins with discipline, sovereignty begins with sacrifice, and victory begins with unity. Firepower is only as strong as the heart that commands it. And Pakistan, by the grace of Allah, commands it with the heart of a believer.
