Using false flag operations and cross-border terrorism to divert attention from internal political failures has increasingly become a defining tactic of the Modi government, according to security assessments.
The recent arrest of Indian-trained militant Abdul Majeed, along with the recovery of incriminating materials, has once again exposed what officials describe as India’s involvement in state-sponsored terrorism inside Pakistan.
Following the Pahalgam false flag incident, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry presented what he termed “irrefutable evidence” of Indian state-backed terrorism on an international platform. He stated that India is actively supporting and facilitating terrorist networks operating within Pakistan.
Even after seven days, India has failed to provide any credible evidence to support its allegations against Pakistan, further raising questions about the narrative being pushed, the DG ISPR noted.
According to the briefing, serving officers of the Indian Army are directly involved in supervising terrorist activities inside Pakistan. These networks are reportedly being supplied with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and other explosives to target both security forces and civilians.
Experts argue that groups such as Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan are operating under Indian patronage, carrying out destabilizing activities within Pakistan. They further maintain that Pakistan has already presented undeniable evidence to the world, detailing training, medical support, and logistical facilitation provided to militants within India.
This pattern, analysts suggest, reflects a broader strategy aimed at destabilizing Pakistan while masking internal governance challenges through manufactured crises and disinformation campaigns.
