Zohra Aslam, Director General of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, shared some exciting news on Saturday. She announced that digital financial training is starting for 160,000 women in the province.

She talked about this during the final three days of the digital financial training at the BISP office in Haripur. Zohra Aslam explained that the first part of this new program has already started in Haripur. Initially, 275 women who are part of the Benazir Income Support Programme will receive thorough training.

The big goal is to provide this financial education to women in other parts of the province after successfully finishing the first stage. Zohra Aslam pointed out that the training is meant to make women stronger by improving their skills in managing money. They will learn about saving money, making budgets, and understanding financial matters.

She stressed how important it is for women to share what they learn with others, creating a positive impact on the community. The training covers various topics, including knowing about rights and responsibilities, recognizing different currency notes, using mobile accounts, saving money, understanding investments, and being aware of different types of financial scams.

Jahanzeb Akhtar, the Assistant Director and Master Trainer, explained the main goals of the training during the session. Other important figures, like Assistant Director Saeed Sibad Shah, Focal Person Haripur Rabab Wahab, and other respected individuals, were also present at the event.
