The discussions come at a time of heightened diplomatic activity in the region, where efforts are underway to sustain a fragile ceasefire environment and bring major international players toward meaningful talks.

The British envoy acknowledged Pakistan’s constructive role, particularly its efforts in encouraging dialogue between the United States and Iran. She praised Islamabad’s consistent diplomatic outreach and support for global peace initiatives.

In her remarks, Marriott expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s continued engagement, noting its persistent efforts to address complex international challenges through diplomacy.
