    CTD Punjab arrests two terrorists of banned TTP in Rawalpindi

    arrested two terrorists of banned TTP from Rawalpindi on Thursday.According to a statement of the CTD Punjab, the most wanted terrorists were arrested in a joint operation. The arrested terrorists were identified as Hayatullah and Wakeel Khan, who belong to Haji Faqir group of banned TTP. The CTD claimed that the terrorists were planning suicide attacks on police lines in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. They were also planning attacks on Cant police station, District courts and other sensitive buildings, the CTD added. They had sent the pictures of the targets to their commander based in Afghanistan. The detained terrorists have been shifted to unknown location for interrogation. The Haji Faqir group of banned TTP is operating from Afghanistan. The CTD has registered an FIR against the detained terrorists and started further investigation.
