    Two troops among three martyred, 13 injured in North Waziristan suicide attack

    MIRANSHAH: In a tragic incident on Wednesday, a suicide attack took place near a check post in North Waziristan tribal district, resulting in the loss of lives of two security forces personnel and a child, while 13 others sustained injuries.

     According to sources, the assailant, driving a car, targeted a convoy of the bomb disposal squad belonging to the security forces. The attack occurred near the Shaheed Hameedullah check post in Miranshah.

    The suicide bomber mercilessly rammed his vehicle into the convoy, causing a devastating explosion. As a result, two members of the security forces and an innocent child lost their lives. Additionally, thirteen individuals, including four security forces personnel, were wounded in the powerful blast.

    Upon receiving information about the attack, both the security forces and rescue teams swiftly arrived at the scene. They promptly transported injured  to hospitals in Miranshah and Mirali for treatment. Simultaneously, the security forces cordoned off the area and initiated a thorough search operation in the vicinity.

    The DPO has confirmed that three security forces personnel were martyred while 10 people were injured in the blast. He said that the police personnel remained safe in the attack.
