TTP Terrorist Nasrullah Mehsud, also known as Maulvi Mansoor, was arrested in Balochistan during an investigation related to the TTP’s connections with the Afghan Taliban, RAW, and the outlawed BLA. Important revelations have emerged from his arrest.
Balochistan’s Interior Minister, Zia Longo, announced that a significant network of terrorism was dismantled in Balochistan. Two crucial commanders of the banned organization were apprehended after a difficult and challenging operation. The arrest of these terrorists is considered a significant victory in the fight against terrorism.
Zia Longo emphasized that India’s hand is behind the terrorist activities. He claimed that India provides financial support to the terrorists. Longo urged the youth, particularly those abroad, to recognize the enemy’s intentions and not be swayed by their propaganda. He stressed that these actions are harmful to the provinces and the people.
During the press conference, Minister Longo played a video statement from the arrested TTP Terrorist Nasrullah Mehsud. In this video, Mehsud confessed to carrying out sabotage operations against Pakistan Army check posts on the Pakistan-Afghan border. He detailed his involvement in destructive activities in South Waziristan, North Waziristan, and Dera Ismail Khan.
In a scathing critique of the TTP leadership, Nasrullah Mehsud questioned why TTP chiefs do not use their own children for suicide attacks but send others’ children instead. He stated, “I can confirm that the whole system of TTP, especially the financial system, is supported by India.” He revealed meetings with officials from RAW, who are fully backed by the current Afghan government. According to Mehsud, the Afghan government not only provides financial support to the TTP but also supplies training and manpower.
The arrested terrorist challenged Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud, asking about the source of the bomb-proof vehicles used by him, his wife, and his children. He pointed out the hypocrisy of issuing fatwas for others’ children to commit suicide attacks while ensuring the safety of his own family.
TTP Terrorist Nasrullah Mehsud, being a Mehsud himself, appealed to all tribes to question why only children from other tribes are sacrificed in terrorist acts. He expressed doubt that the TTP leadership, including Mufti Noor Wali, could provide an answer. He revealed that the first and foremost requirement for all major positions in TTP, especially those related to financial matters, is to be a Mehsud. This, he said, serves the nefarious purposes of anti-Pakistan forces, leading to the unjust killing of tribal children. He pointed out that 70-80% of TTP commanders are Mehsuds, which is causing internal concerns within the organization.
Nasrullah Mehsud also disclosed that all the TTP leadership, including Mufti Noor Wali, are present in Afghanistan with full support from the Afghan Taliban. He stated that all TTP commanders roam freely in Afghanistan. Moreover, BLA Majeed Brigade commander Bashir Zeb is also in Afghanistan, and they all receive backing from RAW. Mehsud mentioned that Mufti Noor Wali regularly meets Bashir Zeb at the Indian Embassy.
Expressing deep remorse for his past actions, the arrested terrorist sought forgiveness from Allah and the people. He revealed that the objective of the BLA-TTP alliance is to create a narrative of missing persons through kidnappings for ransom. He stated that many of these missing individuals are actually in Afghanistan.
TTP Terrorist Nasrullah Mehsud’s arrest and subsequent revelations have provided critical insights into the intricate web of terrorism, foreign support, and the exploitation of tribal children in terrorist activities. The authorities hope that these revelations will lead to further dismantling of terrorist networks and bring peace to the region.
