Twenty-four suspected individuals have been arrested during a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cleanup operation, according to media reports on Sunday. An official stated that police seized arms and ammunition from the suspected militants, impounded their vehicles, and eliminated their hideouts during the operation.

The suspects were handed over to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), where cases were registered against them under relevant sections of the law. On Saturday, the CTD produced the 24 suspects in the local anti-terrorism court and sought their physical remand for a month.

This Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cleanup operation reflects ongoing efforts to combat militant activities in the region. The seized arms and ammunition highlight the severity of the threat. By dismantling hideouts and impounding vehicles, authorities aim to disrupt the operations of these suspected militants.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cleanup operation demonstrates the commitment of law enforcement agencies to maintaining peace and security. The physical remand sought by the CTD indicates the seriousness of the charges and the need for thorough investigations.
