The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, organized a seminar at Jamia Tur Rasheed in Karachi, aiming to bridge gaps and foster unity between Pakistan’s religious scholars (Ulama) and the army. The event addressed misunderstandings fueled by social media propaganda, which has created a divide between the armed forces and the religious community.

Following the seminar, attendees, including scholars and faculty members, expressed confidence in the army’s commitment to Pakistan’s development and security. One participant praised the DG ISPR for his transparent presentation, stating, “I am convinced by his words and commitment, and it’s clear that the Pakistan Army and our Ulama are aligned in their mission to uplift the nation. We must promote positivity and refrain from sharing fake news.”

Another attendee shared similar sentiments, noting that his misunderstandings about the army’s stance had been resolved. He emphasized that the negative content circulating online is mere propaganda, and the army holds a strong commitment to Islamic values and national progress.

A faculty member of Jamia Tur Rasheed also praised the visit by DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif, highlighting its success in dispelling misconceptions and promoting unity. He stated, “This visit has shown us that the Pak Army is dedicated to protecting and strengthening Pakistan, and we are confident in their role in safeguarding our future.”
