Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stark warning to Iran, asserting that Israel has the capability to target any location within the country.

He emphasized that Israel’s primary goal is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, despite experts noting that Israel itself possesses undeclared nuclear capabilities.

Netanyahu labeled Iran’s nuclear program as a significant threat to both regional and global security. He stated, “We will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear capabilities,” reaffirming Israel’s commitment to counter what it considers an existential threat.

In response, Mohammad Mohammadi, a senior aide to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warned that Iran’s military would respond decisively to any Israeli attacks on its facilities. Tensions between the two nations have escalated, with Iran recently launching over 100 ballistic missiles towards Israel and Israel conducting surprise attacks on Iranian military and nuclear sites.

The conflict extends beyond direct engagements, with Israel also targeting Iranian positions in Syria to disrupt the flow of advanced weaponry to Hezbollah and curb Iranian influence near its borders. Netanyahu has previously threatened that Israel will take necessary actions to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear capabilities, which has included targeting Iranian nuclear scientists.
