    Tarar Denies Engaging with PTI Before Islamabad Protest

    Information Minister Attaullah Tarar announced that strict action will be taken against anyone participating in the Islamabad protest, which the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has declared illegal. Speaking at a press conference, he confirmed that both Islamabad and Punjab Police are instructed to prevent lawlessness and safeguard public property. He said there is no engagement with the PTI at any level. He clarified that contact was made with PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan only once in compliance with Islamabad High Court’s ruling and they have been informed that this protest is illegal.

    The Minister criticized PTI for disrupting key national events, claiming the party opposes progress. He cited instances such as protests during the Chinese President’s visit for CPEC and the SCO meeting, emphasizing PTI’s pattern of hindering Pakistan’s economic development.
