The US Embassy has urged unity against the Afghan interim government’s unjust treatment of women in Afghanistan. It emphasized that the Taliban’s oppressive actions toward women are a serious concern. This serves as a clear warning to Afghan authorities. Their refusal to provide justice not only harms Afghanistan but also undermines global efforts to uphold human rights.

The embassy stated that the continued denial of women’s right to education and employment has significant global consequences. Immediate action is essential to safeguard Afghanistan’s future. Failure to act will further damage the nation’s international reputation and standing.

Additionally, the closure of healthcare services for women and girls is a major issue. It directly challenges worldwide commitments to gender equality. The Afghan interim government must review and change these harmful policies before it is too late.

The US Embassy’s appeal for unity in addressing these injustices is a strong warning. The world is closely observing the situation. Time is running out to correct the violations of women’s rights in Afghanistan. Action must be taken urgently to avoid further harm to Afghan society and its global relations.
