Funeral prayers were offered in the Kato Kot area of Bajaur for three individuals, including two children, who were martyred as a result of reported cross-border shelling. The solemn prayers witnessed the participation of a large number of local residents along with senior security officials.

High-ranking officers from the security forces also visited the affected family’s residence, offering condolences and assuring them of full support in this difficult time. Their visit reflected solidarity with the grieving family and commitment to assisting those impacted.

According to reports, the incident occurred a day earlier when alleged shelling from across the border targeted a civilian area, resulting in the martyrdom of three members of the same family, including two children, while three others sustained serious injuries.

Residents of Bajaur strongly condemned the attack, terming it a cowardly act and expressing full solidarity with the security forces. The incident has further intensified public concern over civilian safety in border regions.
