Al-Mirsad has become a tool of anti-Pakistani propaganda in the hands of Afghan-Taliban. It is showing a one-sided narrative. It is spreading hostility and promoting enmity, harming regional peace and mutual understanding. Al-Mirsad, a web paper, operates as a perilous tool of disinformation, spreading biased and fabricated narratives to smudge Pakistan’s global image. The platform intensifies the voices of extremist groups like TTP, justifying their actions and encouraging their agendas. These actions are fostering hostility between Pakistan and Afghanistan, sabotaging regional peace and cooperation. It also misrepresents Pakistan’s decades-long humanitarian efforts for Afghan refugees.

Pakistan has played a crucial role in the global war on terrorism contributed significantly to regional and global stability and still contributing. Pakistan has made extraordinary sacrifices in terms of human lives and resources, with over 80,000 Pakistanis, including civilians and security personnel. They lost their lives fighting terrorism reiterating Pakistan’s resolve. For decades, Pakistan has hosted over 4 million Afghan refugees, providing them with shelter, food, and opportunities despite facing its own economic challenges.

The international community has repeatedly acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts to dismantle terrorist networks and its initiatives for peace in the region. Moreover, Pakistan’s security forces have conducted numerous successful operations, such as, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Al Mizan, Operation Zalzala , Operation Sher Dil, Operation Rah-e-Haq,  Operation Rah-e-Rast, Operation Rah-e-Nijat, Operation Zarb-e-Azb, Operation Radd-ul-Fassad, and now Operation Azm-e- Istehkam, to eradicate terrorist strongholds and restore peace

On the other hand, Afghanistan has failed to control cross-border terrorist activities, with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) also called Fitna al-Khwarij using Afghan soil to launch attacks on Pakistan, undermining regional peace efforts. In spite of limited resources, Pakistan continues to support Afghanistan stability, peace negotiations, and developmental projects. Pakistan has tolerated countless provocations yet reman committed to fostering diplomacy and peaceful relations with Afghanistan. Allegations against Pakistan often oversee its contributions and sacrifices, reflecting ingratitude from certain elements within Afghanistan. Pakistan wants not only internal but regional stability as well. Its actions emphasize that regional stability, humanitarian aid, and counter-terrorism efforts grounded in international norms.

The time has come for Pakistan and its security forces to no longer tolerate the irresponsible and aggressive actions from the territory of Afghanistan. Afghanistan must re-examine its policies and must reflect on its contributions to regional peace and prosperity.  regarding Pakistan. that what they have done to promote regional peace and prosperity. Blaming Pakistan’s army is not a solution; this has only deepened Pakistan’s   challenges. By allowing TTP and other miscreants to operate from its soil, Afghanistan is allowing threats to the security and stability of Pakistan. Afghanistan must act responsibly and must adopt cooperative and progressive behaviour. It must adopt a cooperative stance and proritise regional peace over aggression.
