    Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M) addressed university and college students from across Pakistan, encouraging them to pursue academic excellence and develop skills that contribute to the nation’s progress.

    During his speech, COAS underscored the challenges posed by external threats, particularly trans-border terrorism, and reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s role in safeguarding national sovereignty. He honored the sacrifices of the Pakistani people in the fight against terrorism and acknowledged their steadfast support for the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs).

    Calling the youth Pakistan’s future leaders, General Munir praised their energy, creativity, and innovation, urging them to embrace ‘Pakistaniat’—a deep-rooted sense of national identity. He emphasized the importance of history, culture, and values in shaping the intellectual growth of young Pakistanis.

    The address served as a motivational call to action, reinforcing the role of youth in nation-building, unity, and resilience against external and internal challenges.
