PESHAWAR: Ali Amin Gandapur threatens KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, reigniting political tensions on Wednesday. Gandapur, addressing the media at the inauguration of a feeder route of the Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), launched a fierce attack on Kundi. “The federal government is so incompetent that it cannot even prepare the budget,” he remarked. Gandapur accused Kundi of being a thief, stating, “He cannot be my relative.” He vowed, “Tomorrow I will expel him from the Governor’s House.”
Gandapur continued his tirade, labeling both the governor and his leader as thieves. He questioned, “Tell the nation on what basis Bilawal got admission to Oxford University.” According to Gandapur, the federal government seeks to become a “political martyr,” but he asserted, “We will not let them become political martyrs.”
In response to a query, Gandapur criticized the federal government for excluding KP’s development projects from the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP). He declared, “This fake government imposed upon the country is continuously doing injustice to us.”
Gandapur made it clear that the people and government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would fight for their rights. He warned, “If these projects are not reinstated immediately, get ready for Duma Dum Mast Qalandar.” As the head of the PTI government in KP, Gandapur emphasized their capability to “send this illegitimate [federal] government home.” He stressed, “The party has the mandate and support of the 240 million people of Pakistan.”
