In the picturesque district of Deir Timergara, known for its scenic beauty and vibrant culture, local athletes have long struggled with the lack of proper sports facilities.
Despite being home to many talented individuals, the district has only one sports field, which remains in a state of neglect. Over the years, successive governments, including the previous PTI leadership, have failed to address the dismal condition of this ground, leaving local players with little support.

For years, athletes in Timergara City have had to share this deteriorating field for multiple sports, including cricket, football, volleyball, and hockey.

Despite their passion and determination, the condition of the ground remains poor, and no improvements have been made to support their efforts.

During PTI’s 12-year tenure in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, no significant development or investment in the region’s sports infrastructure has been witnessed, leaving local athletes disheartened.

The condition of the Timergara market ground stands as a stark reminder of the government’s failure to prioritize sports development, with players expressing frustration over the lack of facilities and support from the authorities.
