A brutal act of Taliban terrorism has once again shaken the region. The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF) has strongly condemned the recent attack on the Jaffar Express train in Balochistan, Pakistan. In this disturbing incident, Baloch militants held innocent passengers hostage, triggering outrage and fear.

The NRF squarely blamed the Taliban for fostering terror networks and accused them of harbouring multiple terrorist groups. The NRF warned that such support from the Taliban is causing a dangerous rise in regional instability.

The Pakistan Army has also confirmed that the attack’s masterminds operated from Afghan soil. The army’s intelligence reports revealed that the attackers stayed in constant contact with their handler in Afghanistan throughout the hostage crisis.

Ali Maisam Nazary, the head of foreign relations for the NRF, reacted to the incident on X (formerly Twitter). He stated that the National Resistance Front strongly condemns this act of violence. He offered heartfelt condolences to the people of Pakistan and the families of those affected.

Nazary linked the surge in Taliban terrorism to the group’s return to power in 2021. He claimed that more than 21 terror organisations are being sheltered by the Taliban. According to him, these groups are not just a threat to Afghanistan but are spreading violence across multiple countries.

Nazary stressed that there is only one way to stop this crisis — supporting the Afghan people in their fight for freedom. He urged the global community to help bring about a democratic government in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan military confirmed that the train attack was orchestrated from Afghanistan. The army’s statement emphasized that the terrorists remained connected with their ringleader in Afghanistan throughout the operation.

The army has repeated its demand that the Taliban regime must stop Afghan soil from being used against Pakistan. A military spokesperson warned that this attack has “changed the rules of the game.” He signalled a shift in Pakistan’s strategy to deal with such extremist threats.

The incident has further exposed the dangers of unchecked Taliban terrorism in the region. The presence of radical groups under Taliban protection continues to fuel violence and cross-border attacks.

Both the NRF and the Pakistan Army now call for urgent action against terrorist sanctuaries operating from Afghan territory. The growing wave of militant activity, supported by the Taliban, demands a strong international response.
