Pakistan and Kazakhstan Begin “Dostarym-V” Joint Exercise at Cherat

Pakistan and Kazakhstan have started their joint military exercise “Dostarym-V” at the Special Operations School, Cherat. The event runs from October 13 to 24, 2025, focusing on counter-terror operations and tactical training.
The Special Services Group (SSG) of Pakistan and the Special Forces of Kazakhstan are taking part in the exercise.

The opening ceremony, held on October 14, 2025, marked the official start of this bilateral event. Both sides emphasized the importance of joint drills in improving interoperability and operational readiness.

    Enhancing Bilateral Military Cooperation

“Dostarym-V” aims to strengthen coordination between the two friendly nations.
Through joint field exercises, participants refine their combat skills, improve planning, and share real-world experiences.
This cooperation builds trust and supports long-term defense collaboration.

Moreover, the training encourages cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the forces.
As a result, it further solidifies Pakistan and Kazakhstan’s historic military-to-military relations.

    Commitment to Regional Stability

The ongoing collaboration reflects both nations’ shared commitment to regional peace and secu-rity.
By training together, their armies learn from one another’s strengths and techniques in countering emerging threats.
This partnership also highlights their dedication to stability, cooperation, and professional excellence.

Consequently, the Dostarym-V Exercise stands as a strong symbol of unity and friendship between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
It reaffirms both countries’ readiness to address evolving global challenges through collaboration and shared learning.
