Pakistan Rejects Ukraine War Allegations, Calls Out False Claims of Involvement

Pakistan has firmly denied recent allegations linking its citizens to the Ukraine conflict. These accusations surfaced after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that foreign “mercenaries” from Pakistan, China, and Africa were fighting in the war.

In response, the Foreign Office (FO) released a clear statement rejecting the claims. According to the FO, Ukraine has not shared any credible evidence to support these allegations. The spokesperson confirmed that Pakistan has not received any official communication from Ukrainian authorities on the issue.

The FO stated that no Pakistani national has been deployed or sent to fight in any foreign conflict. These individuals, it explained, are not state actors but rather hired fighters—Kharji militants and mercenaries allegedly operating out of Afghanistan.

These extremists, reportedly armed with leftover American weapons, were mobilized by India-aligned groups (IAG). These networks have taken advantage of the chaos left behind after the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“This isn’t Pakistan’s doing,” said a senior official. “These are Kharji elements, not our nationals. And they’re being pushed into the war zone from elsewhere.”

Meanwhile, the FO announced it would seek official clarification from Ukraine. It also highlighted Pakistan’s consistent position on international conflicts—urging peace, diplomacy, and adherence to the United Nations Charter.

Furthermore, the FO emphasized that dragging Pakistan into such narratives is not only misleading but also dangerous. “We advocate peaceful resolution of disputes. Dialogue—not disinformation—should guide global policy,” the spokesperson added.

The timing of these allegations has raised questions, especially as Pakistan maintains a neutral stance on the Ukraine conflict. Observers believe that misinformation, if left unchecked, could harm diplomatic ties and distract from meaningful solutions.

In conclusion, Pakistan has reaffirmed its diplomatic principles and commitment to peace. It has rejected all baseless claims, demanded clarification, and reiterated that no Pakistani soldier is involved in foreign wars.
