Rawalpindi: In the early hours of November 3rd and 4th, security forces engaged in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, resulting in the elimination of six Khwarij militants.
The first operation took place in the Dosali area of North Waziristan District, where an intelligence-based operation was launched. During this engagement, security forces successfully targeted a militant hideout, leading to the death of a Khwarij operative identified as Ahmed Shah, also known as Intizar.
In a second incident, security forces intercepted a group of Khwarij attempting to infiltrate from Afghanistan into Pakistan through the Khamrang area of South Waziristan District. Troops effectively engaged the infiltrators, killing five militants and injuring three others, thereby thwarting their incursion.
Pakistan has consistently urged the Interim Afghan Government to enhance border management and prevent the use of Afghan territory by Khwarij to carry out terrorist activities against Pakistan. The security forces remain resolute in their commitment to safeguarding the country’s borders and eradicating the threat of terrorism.
