    PESHAWAR: At least eight people including six FC personnel were injured in a suicide attack on a security forces vehicle in the Hayatabad area on Tuesday.

    According to SP Sadar Wiqas Rafique, the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber who targeted the vehicle of the Frontier Corps (FC) in the Hayatabad locality. As a result of the explosion, eight individuals were wounded. Swiftly responding to the situation, rescue personnel rushed to the scene and promptly transferred the injured to the Hayatabad Medical Complex for urgent medical attention. Meanwhile, the security forces promptly arrived at the area, securing the blast site to initiate necessary investigations.

    Sources from Rescue 1122 revealed that two of the injured individuals were in critical condition, adding to the gravity of the situation. Among the wounded were identified the FC personnel as Hawaldar Mohammad Hussain, Lance Naik Wahab, and soldiers Sakhawat, Haidayat, and Rahim.
