    BLA Terrorists Eliminated in Balochistan’s Harnai District

    Security forces eliminated six terrorists from the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) during a joint operation in Balochistan’s Harnai district. The operation, carried out on September 12, targeted BLA hideouts and was based on precise intelligence, according to security sources.

    Key Figures Among the Killed Terrorists

    The operation successfully neutralized prominent BLA terrorists, including Shafu Samalani alias Tadin, Sarmad Khan alias Dasteen, and Muhammad Gul Mari alias Wahid Baloch. These terrorists were involved in multiple attacks targeting both civilians and security forces.

    Interior Minister Lauds Security Forces

    Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for their bravery and timely action in the successful operation. He emphasized that this decisive action has once again foiled the nefarious plans of terrorists and highlighted the government’s resolve to wipe out terrorism.

    “The entire nation stands with our brave security forces to ensure lasting peace in Balochistan,” said Naqvi.

    Rising Violence in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

    This development comes amid rising violence in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). According to a report by the Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), the third quarter of 2024 saw a 90% surge in violence, with most incidents occurring in these provinces. The Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS) also noted a 7% reduction in militant attacks but highlighted the continuing high number of fatalities.
