Masjid-e-Nabawi Imam Dr Salah bin Mohammad Al-Budair praised Pakistan for its vital role in regional peace and stability during his visit to the country, according to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The Masjid-e-Nabawi Imam made these remarks in a meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir.

“Pakistan holds a significant place in the Muslim world,” said the Masjid-e-Nabawi Imam to the army chief. Both leaders expressed satisfaction over the strong Pak-Saudi relations as they discussed various matters of mutual interest.

General Munir warmly welcomed the Masjid-e-Nabawi Imam and emphasized that his visit to Pakistan was a great honor for the nation’s people. The meeting concluded with the Masjid-e-Nabawi Imam offering prayers for the peace, stability, and unity of the Muslim Ummah.

Earlier in the day, Masjid-e-Nabawi Imam Al-Budair recited verses from the Holy Quran at the National Assembly session held at the Parliament House in Islamabad. National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq greeted the visiting dignitary, highlighting that his presence was a source of pride and spiritual guidance for the nation.

The Masjid-e-Nabawi Imam’s visit has been widely regarded as a symbol of the strong bonds between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with a focus on fostering peace and stability in the region.
