Naqvi Pledges Centre’s Full Support for Balochistan in Fight Against Terr0rism

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi assured the Balochistan government of the Centre’s full support in maintaining law and order. He co-chaired a high-level meeting with Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti to review the province’s security situation and discuss counter-terror strategies.

Naqvi stressed that the federal government stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Balochistan. He declared that Indian-backed terr0rists and their local facilitators would be tracked, exposed, and brought to justice.

“Those who challenge the state will face a strong response,” he warned. “We’re fully aligned with the provincial government on this.”

Top law enforcement officials also joined the session. These included IG Police Moazzam Jah Ansari, CTD DIG Aitzaz Goraya, and FC North IG Maj Gen Abid Mazhar.

    CM Bugti: Anti-Terr0r Drive Intensified

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti shared updates on current security operations and the status of the provincial action plan. He noted that forces have intensified actions against terror outfits in multiple regions. He called on the nation to back the government’s efforts to restore peace.

“Our security personnel and civilians have made great sacrifices,” Bugti said. “We won’t let them go in vain.”

He highlighted the need for national unity to defeat threats that aim to destabilize Pakistan.

    Federal-Provincial Coordination at Its Peak

Officials from the police, Frontier Corps, Levies, and CTD reviewed tactical plans, shared intelligence updates, and discussed real-time responses to threats. Naqvi praised the inter-agency coordination and reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to long-term stability.

Naqvi arrived earlier in Quetta, where provincial ministers and senior officials welcomed him at the airport. His visit marked a renewed push to strengthen ties between federal and provincial authorities in securing Balochistan.
