Pakistan and Malaysia Vow to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation
Islamabad – Prime Ministers Shehbaz Sharif and Anwar Ibrahim met on Thursday in Islamabad, where they vowed to enhance Pakistan-Malaysia cooperation across a range of sectors. Their discussions, as reported by Radio Pakistan, focused on strengthening ties and addressing issues of mutual interest, including matters affecting the Muslim community globally.
Focus on Strengthening Bilateral Relations
During the meeting, both leaders emphasized the need for more structured mechanisms to boost cooperation, covering economic, social, and regional issues. Prime Minister Ibrahim expressed support for Pakistan’s ongoing engagement with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) and welcomed Pakistan’s increasing role in the region.
