    PM Shehbaz Sharif Urges UN to Sanction Israel for Gaza Actions

    PM Shehbaz Sharif Urges UN to Impose Sanctions on Israel Over Gaza Conflict

    During a UN Security Council debate on “Leadership for Peace” at the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged the UN to impose sanctions on Israel, including an arms and trade embargo, in response to its genocidal acts in Gaza. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for urgent action to halt the escalating violence and prevent further destabilization in the Middle East.

    PM Shehbaz Sharif’s Call for Israel Sanctions and Global Peace

    PM Shehbaz Sharif urged the UN Security Council to take decisive action by imposing sanctions on Israel, stressing the importance of holding Israel accountable for its actions in Gaza. He further called for a peaceful resolution to global conflicts, including the war in Ukraine.

    Addressing the Kashmir Conflict and Other Global Issues

    In addition to the Gaza conflict, PM Shehbaz Sharif raised the issue of Kashmir, urging the UN to resolve the long-standing Kashmir dispute and ensure the right to self-determination for Kashmiris. He called for the implementation of UN resolutions to protect human rights in the region.
