Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has issued a stark warning about the future of the region, cautioning that deliberate efforts are underway to reshape the Middle East’s geopolitical landscape.
Speaking during a televised address marking the anniversary of Sinai’s liberation, Sisi described the current moment as deeply critical, suggesting that regional instability is not accidental but part of a broader, calculated push to alter long-standing boundaries and power structures.
His remarks come at a time of heightened tensions across the region, particularly in Gaza Strip, where ongoing conflict continues to drive humanitarian concerns and political uncertainty.
Sisi emphasized the urgent need to fully implement the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. He stressed that humanitarian aid must be allowed to flow into Gaza without obstruction and called for the immediate start of reconstruction efforts to address the widespread devastation.
Equally forceful was Egypt’s position on the Palestinian issue. Sisi made it clear that Cairo категорically rejects any attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians from their land, framing such moves as unacceptable and destabilizing for the entire region.
The speech reflects growing concern among regional powers that the current crisis could trigger long-term geopolitical shifts, with consequences that extend far beyond immediate conflict zones.
