8 injured as police officer’s house attacked in North Waziristan

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Unidentified gunmen attacked the house of an assistant sub inspector in Dandi Seedgi area of Ghulam Khan border tehsil of North Waziristan, injuring women and men in the house. 

According to police, terrorists attacked Amin Ullah, assistant sub inspector, house with small arms and heavy weapons. Vehicle dispatched to take the injured to the hospital was also targeted by an explosion, causing additional injuries. Total eight people were injured in both incidents in which conditions of three people said to be critical. 

The victims have been transported to Miranshah hospital for treatment.

The police have arrived at the spot and the area has been cordoned off.

Last night on Saturday, banned outlet TTP suicide bomber had targeted security forces convey carrying staff members of a gas and oil company in North Waziristan that left at least three soldiers dead and injured 22 others. Out of 22, 15 were workers of the gas and oil company while rest were FC men.
