Afghanistan’s Shia Scholars Advocate for Inclusive Governance by Islamic Emirate. In Afghanistan, Shia scholars are urging the Islamic Emirate to lead the nation without bias, ensuring fairness for all citizens. These scholars, speaking during a program called “The Role of Scholars in the Spiritual Life of Muslims,” emphasized the need for an Islamic system that respects diversity.

“The leaders of the Islamic Emirate and scholars in positions of authority must uphold Islamic principles without prejudice or personal biases,” emphasized Bazel, a respected religious figure.

Misbah, another scholar, echoed these sentiments, stressing the importance of societal elements for spiritual growth and societal well-being.

According to Ali Dad, collaboration between religious scholars and the government is essential for fulfilling the responsibilities towards the people.

Sadiq Afghan highlighted the duty of implementing divine laws, urging those in power to enforce God’s decree.

Aminullah Zahed, head of Vice and Virtue at 18thPD, underscored the significance of Islamic modesty in public spaces, expressing concern over some women appearing in a manner inconsistent with traditional norms.

Furthermore, participants reiterated the need to combat evil within the country and emphasized the importance of creating employment opportunities for the youth.

Afghanistan’s Shia scholars are advocating for a governance system that respects Islamic values while ensuring inclusivity and opportunity for all citizens. Their calls for collaboration between religious leaders and the government highlight the importance of unity in addressing societal challenges.
