When India first entered Iran’s economic landscape through the Chabahar Port project, it sold the world a vision of trade corridors, regional stability, and South South cooperation. What was hidden beneath that façade was a calculated intelligence strategy. Chabahar was never just about trade. It was a trojan horse that allowed India’s external intelligence agency, RAW, to quietly build its network inside Iranian territory under the cover of infrastructure and investment. Today, that network stands exposed.
The recent Israeli airstrikes inside Iran, targeting both military assets and civilian locations, have raised urgent questions about how such precise, real time intelligence was obtained. With Israeli and American operatives barred from Iranian territory, the answer points clearly toward an external facilitator embedded inside Iran. That facilitator is India. Its so called development mission has served a darker purpose. Chabahar provided RAW with logistical access. Infrastructure projects gave cover to surveillance operations. Intelligence gathered in Iranian cities has now become the backbone of Israeli strikes.
Pakistan has always cautioned the region about RAW’s operations. While some dismissed those warnings as geopolitical rivalry, the current situation proves otherwise. RAW has long used development diplomacy as a tool to insert agents, build communication channels, and collect sensitive data. This model, first seen in Afghanistan and Nepal, has now reached the heart of Iran.
The betrayal is profound. Iran welcomed India as a friend and partner. In return, it now faces a breach of trust that has cost civilian lives. Innocent men, women, and children have been killed in airstrikes enabled by intelligence likely provided through RAW’s embedded networks. This is not just espionage. This is participation in aggression.
The RAW Mossad connection has matured rapidly over the past decade. From joint cyber training to drone development and surveillance sharing, the collaboration has been intense and consistent. What is even more dangerous is that both agencies operate with ideological backing. Zionism and Hindutva are not neutral worldviews. They both view the Muslim world as a threat, and they are prepared to use every tool to neutralize that perceived threat. Intelligence, media, propaganda, and military strikes are all part of a single strategic continuum.
Iran must now take a hard look at the so called friendship it has maintained with India. The same India whose media figures insult Iranian leaders and publicly mock its government cannot be considered a genuine partner. RAW has not only violated Iranian sovereignty but has directly enabled attacks against the Iranian people. The excuse of “development cooperation” can no longer hide this bitter reality.
Pakistan, having dealt with RAW’s infiltration and sabotage for decades, understands the pattern. The Indian intelligence model thrives on deception, camouflage, and quiet positioning. Once embedded, it becomes an extension of hostile agendas. Chabahar was ideal for such an operation. Its strategic location, access to trade routes, and weak scrutiny made it the perfect entry point.
The response from Tehran must be more than diplomatic discomfort. It requires a complete reevaluation of India’s presence within Iran. Intelligence networks must be dismantled. Projects must be audited. Security protocols must be revised. Most importantly, Iran must open its eyes to the broader threat matrix that includes not only Israel and the West, but also India, which has become their trusted enabler in South Asia.
Pakistan stands vindicated. Our consistent stance against RAW’s regional interference is no longer just a matter of national security. It is now a matter of regional survival. If Iran continues to ignore these warnings, it will only invite deeper chaos. From Chabahar to chaos, RAW’s shadow has grown long and dangerous. It is time to cut it off.
