At a time when Pakistan is actively working with international partners to promote regional and global peace, Islamabad has strongly rejected India’s attempt to link it with the Pahalgam incident, calling it a baseless and politically motivated propaganda campaign.
According to the Foreign Office, India’s repeated pattern of accusations reflects a deliberate strategy to deflect attention from its own actions, particularly after facing a decisive response in the form of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos. Officials подчерк that such narratives are designed to create a smokescreen for India’s continued destabilizing role in the region.
Pakistan maintains that these allegations cannot distract the international community from the realities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where, it says, the denial of the right to self-determination continues in violation of UN resolutions. Islamabad also pointed to India’s aggressive posture, including its unilateral move regarding the Indus Waters Treaty, as evidence of behavior that undermines regional stability.
Calling for responsible conduct, Pakistan urged the international community to press India to avoid rhetoric and actions that could derail ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at peace and security.
In parallel diplomatic engagement, Ishaq Dar met with Tarik Ali Khan, where Canada expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s role in facilitating dialogue and promoting regional peace.
The meeting also emphasized strengthening Pakistan-Canada relations across multiple sectors, reflecting Islamabad’s broader diplomatic push to build international consensus for stability and cooperation.
