The Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore has dismissed the bail application of Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, in the Jinnah House attack case. The court ruled that there were no sufficient grounds to grant bail to the accused.

In a detailed written judgment, Judge Manzoor Ali Gill emphasized that Imran Khan, as the former chairman and founder of PTI, holds substantial influence over his party’s supporters. The court further noted that Khan’s statements held significant weight and could incite violence, which was evident from the attacks that took place.

The prosecution alleged that the conspiracy for the attack was orchestrated at Imran Khan’s residence in Zaman Park, which led to the violent events on the day of the attack. The court found these allegations credible and rejected the defense’s claim that Khan had no involvement in planning the attacks.

The defense also referenced previous instances where Khan was granted bail in other cases; however, the court clarified that each case must be evaluated based on its individual merits, and the circumstances surrounding this particular case were distinct.
