    Mohsin Naqvi held a high-level meeting with Reza Amiri Moghaddam ahead of the anticipated second phase of US-Iran talks scheduled in Islamabad.

    The discussions focused on security arrangements and logistical preparations for the upcoming diplomatic engagement, reflecting Pakistan’s active role in facilitating a sensitive and high-stakes dialogue process.

    Both sides reviewed overall readiness for the negotiations and emphasized the importance of reducing regional tensions through sustained diplomatic and negotiation-based approaches. The meeting underscored a shared understanding that dialogue remains the most viable path toward stability.

    Mohsin Naqvi assured the Iranian envoy that comprehensive and foolproof security measures have been put in place to ensure a secure environment for visiting delegations. He reiterated Pakistan’s consistent stance in support of diplomatic engagement and peaceful resolution of disputes.

    He further noted that dialogue-based solutions are the most direct and practical path forward, stressing that lasting regional stability can only be achieved through peace and constructive engagement among all stakeholders.

    The Iranian ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s constructive and facilitative role in supporting dialogue and easing tensions, acknowledging Islamabad’s efforts to create a conducive environment for diplomatic progress.
